It’s okay to have those struggles.
We promise you it’s a lot more common than you think.
There is no judgement here. Whatever is going on in your life, you are awesome just the way you are. We really mean that.
However, we understand that right now, it may not feel that way…
But that’s totally okay too.
You’ve probably realised that you cannot hate yourself into long-lasting change…
And so a very important part of the work we do at the Studio is learning to practice what we do from a place of self-love and appreciation.
We really don’t want to sound like a self-help book here, but if somebody undertakes a big health-changing journey by way of extreme restriction and being overly hard on themselves, by being cruel to themselves and denying themselves the things they enjoy, more often than not if they get to where they wanted to be they realise that are just as unhappy as before they started.
Except now they’re a few pounds lighter.

This journey will be one of building yourself up, not tearing yourself down…

When we first meet people, they often feel that they are beyond help.

Alex Pearson Health Coaching exists for people who feel they are beyond help, but are still willing to give it a damn good try.
This isn’t about saying that we’re all going to have washboard abs and be a size 6. It’s just about getting that little bit better every day.
We embrace the concept of practice. Because really, that’s all we ever do! We practice changing behaviours around food that
we might have carried for a very very long time.
Forgive us if it sounds a little crazy, but we’re not looking at where you're going to be in six weeks.
We care about where you’ll be in a year, five, ten, twenty years’ time. We care about you not having your life controlled by your weight or diabetes. We care about you being given the tools you need now, so you can live the life you want in the future.
This is why we don’t believe in four-week programmes or “transformation” packages – again, if that’s what works for you, then that’s awesome. Go do your thing!
But for us, four weeks just isn’t enough to make the necessary changes. We acknowledge and accept that lifelong change cannot happen in 28 days. The journey might be long, but that doesn’t mean that you should never begin.
We’re not here to tell you what you should or shouldn’t do. What you should or shouldn’t look like, or feel like, or act like. But if you’re looking for a coach, no matter where in the country you are, and have some stuff you really want to change, then we would love to hear from you.
